Avril Lavigne Signs Deal with Sally Hansen for Nail Polish Strips
The Sk8ter boy singer will have her own Sally Hansen collection of nail polish strips inspired by her music and style! Avril Lavigne has become a fashionista these days having launched a fashion line and three perfumes! The nail strip collection of 12 designs will launch in April. Avril told WWD “I think this offers self-expression, and it’s a really smart, versatile way to show your style. I think my fans will really like it, because it’s easy and simple and fun.”
As for the 12 designs, Avril told WWD that they are inspired by her ”personal style and vibe — they’re rock ’n’ roll and fun and bright and colorful. You have sparkles and little stars — they are cute.” This singer turned fashion mogul is also looking toward hair color treatments in the future, and when spotted by yours truly at Koi in West Hollywood, Avril was rocking a rainbow hair-do. Maybe trying out hair color options?
The Sally Hansen campaign with Avril Lavigne will launch in print ads in May and already be on the shelves in over 25,000 locations nation wide and more globally. An Estimated $7 Million will be made off Avril Lavigne’s deal with The Nail Polish giant!
