Well……it actually has its origins in Canada. Yup, mama said it! Labor disputes arose in Toronto, Canada sparking a revolt across Canada and the United States!

What’s with the White?

You shouldn’t wear white after Labor Day right? But where did that come from? Well, the “well to do people” in the olden days would vacation outside of the hot city for the summer and wear a lot of white to keep cool. When they returned to the city at the summers end they would mark the occasion and the start of fall by casting off all their white clothes for the dark alternatives that wear well with the soot of the city.
